The board voted to approve the implementation of a new Citizens Advisory Committee. Background: The creation of the committee was spurred on by the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s most recent mask mandate and the ongoing debate around parent choice.
After nearly four hours of public comment regarding the district’s masking policy, the board began the business portion of its meeting at 11:26 p.m. by voting to approve the first reading of the district’s updated policy regarding admission for students experiencing homelessness.
